With facilities open to all, the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC) has been rapidly improving its sports facilities to offer a range of activities and courses on the recreational programme. UWIC's Cyncoed campus will play host to both the Fencing and Volleyball competitions.
Fencing
Regional Tennis Hall

Developed in partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association and is Wales' Regional Tennis facility, the tennis centre comprises of 4 indoor courts which will be transformed into the fencing competition for the UK School Games. Six pistes will be laid, including a finals piste, each with designated seating to ensure that no one misses out on any of the action.
Volleyball
National Indoor Athletics Centre (NIAC)

Recently designated as the UK Athletics Talent Development Academy, this indoor athletics centre includes a 200m banked track, 140m straight track and designated areas for all throwing and jumping events. However the banked track will be lowered to allow the state of the art Taraflex floors to be laid creating international sized volleyball courts.
