Hockey
Hockey Gallery
Hockey can be traced back to the earliest civilizations of the world, but the modern game of field hockey was developed in this country and started around the mid 1800's as an alternative to football for cricketers who wanted to practice a winter sport.

The game has developed a lot since then when it was played with a rubber cube rather than a round ball! The rules of hockey are very similar to the rules of football except that players must use sticks instead of their feet to play the ball. Top level hockey is also played almost exclusively on artificial grass or water based pitches which has made it into a fast, energetic and exciting game to watch!.

Structure
Under 18 round robin competition with England, Scotland, Wales and Ulster.
