Swimming
One of the most popular forms of exercise with the Ancient Romans and Greeks, the pressure and the resistance of water makes your body work that little bit harder. 30 minutes of activity burns over 200 calories in the water and is the equivalent to 45 minutes of the same activity on land!
Structure
Aged 16 and under, competitors (as at 30/08/08) will represent 4 teams from England (North, South, East and Central) 1 All Ireland team, 2 teams from Scotland (West/North and East/South) and 1 team from Wales.

Renowned for its exceptional sports facilities, Millfield School is home to some of the most outstanding facilities in England. Able to participate in, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Canoeing, Cricket, Croquet, Cross Country, Fencing, Fitness Training, Fly Fishing, Golf, Lacrosse, Riding, to name a few, students are able to choose from a range of sporting, academic and other extra-curricular activities.
Millfield is home to an 8 lane 50m swimming pool with full changing and spectator seating that regularly hosts ASA events.
