Hockey will be played on the Stan Calvert Memorial Pitch, a floodlit sand dressed surface which is the main location for Newcastle University hockey. In addition, there are three county-standard grass football pitches and a 3G artificial floodlit pitch (opened in September 2008), all with associated changing facilities.
